Whilst we recognise the accomplishments in our past, it is the future that will ultimately define our business. The strategic decision to change our company name, is only the start of what will be an exciting future for our valued clients, new clients and employees.
Our history
Comply2 – formerly P&R Services Glasgow
Comply2 was founded in 2006 by Kay and Allan Crockett to provide PAT testing services to a range of commercial clients.
Since then, the company, which adopted its new name in late 2017, has seen consistent growth. It now works with businesses and institutions across Scotland and the rest of the UK. Sectors covered include hospitality, education, retail and healthcare.
Based in Glasgow, Comply2 has been an approved contractor for the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NIC EIC) since 2011 and have been awarded significant other accreditations including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 – so you can relax in the knowledge that you’re dealing with recognised experts.
Comply2 offers a bespoke service which is both efficient and cost effective. With the support of NIC EIC’s training and regular assessments, we can ensure that our fully qualified engineers help you to meet all legal requirements as defined in the various British Standards and the I.E.T Code of Practices, giving you complete peace of mind.
With a comfortable lounge facility and fully qualified office-based staff, we also deliver a professional ‘while you wait’ service to clients with less than 20 items requiring testing. The service is designed to be extremely cost-effective and time efficient enabling clients to return to work quickly.

P&R decide to appoint an Operations Manager to deal with the day to day management of the business

P&R sign a strategic partnership agreement with Dunedin IT

We secure another national retailer, this time M&Co
April 2012
We take possession of the keys of our new offices and storage facility at 31 Herschell Street Anniesland
November 2011
The business secures NIC EIC Approved Supplier Status
April 2011
P&R sign a strategic partnership agreement with 121 HR Solutions

We secure a contract to supply our services to British Transport Police across the UK
January 2010

P&R become one of the founding members of the Glasgow Living Wage

After weeks of lifting fire extinguishers up to our first floor offices we lease our first warehouse space
July 2009
We launch our latest new service Fire Extinguisher Servicing, the first client to take advantage the Co-operative Group across 600 of their sites (not a bad start).
May 2008
After servicing some trial sites, we secure our first major retailer the Co-operative
December 2007
We launch our second service Fixed Wire Testing
August 2007
We move into our first commercial premises Garscadden House
2006 – 2007
We secured three education contracts – Clydebank College, Strathclyde University & Glasgow Caledonian University.
March 2006
We recruit our first full time employees, one of them, Mark Connelly, is still working for us as our Portable Appliance Testing Supervisor
January 2006 – P&R
P&R Services (Glasgow) is incorporated at Companies House.
December 2005
Kay & Allan Crockett agree to launch P&R Services (Glasgow) Limited.
